Kimberly Hart, the Pink Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers played by Amy Jo Johnson isn’t just the most iconic pink ranger and still beloved today but she was also many boys’ first crush. Definitely mine. What if I told you that she had an unauthorized spin-off film?

That’s right, in 1997 we saw the release of a drama TV movie about eating disorders on NBC and later aired on ABC family (which aired Power Rangers) and Lifetime (where I saw it) played by AJJ. So what does this have to do with Power Rangers?

Looking back on..

As a kid I was always interested in all those fan clubs that were promoted whether on the action figures that I bought or even on my Kids Meal when I went to Burger King. I must’ve been too young to understand how they worked though since I don’t recall ever knowing how they worked.

Little did I know that the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers had a fan club and not only did it include all kinds of neat memorabilia but also a VHS tape that had exclusive content! As soon as I found that out I knew I had to find it to see what this “lost” Power Rangers footage included.

Some quick site updates since I thought it’d be nice to let people know what’s going on with the site. If you’ve noticed we’ve had Power Rangers posts every Thursday since we’re on the hype train to the new Power Rangers movie; I guess we can call it Morphin’ Thursday’s. They’ll continue at least until the movie is out. Similarly since Wrestlemania is also soon so as we started last week we’ll have “Wrestling Weekends” until Wrestlemania XXXII.
