Sonic Animated Continuity Adventures of SATM Underground all canon cartoons

After finishing watching all the Sonic cartoons, mainly all the American Sonic shows made by DIC and even the Japanese Sonic Animes since this won’t cover Sonic Underground, I realized that these shows could be in continuity with each other. Just like I found out about the Nintendo Animated Universe that consists of the Super Mario Cartoons, The Legend of Zelda and Captain N, I will now do the same for Sonic.

As a kid I always thought of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog SATAM sharing the same universe. And why not? Both had the same voice actor, basically the same premise only executed a bit differently and both had the same personality, likes and dislikes for Sonic. There is no reason not to think they aren’t in the same universe besides the fact that one is a much lighter take on it. Counting much of the stuff the two shows shared wasn’t from the videogames so you can’t say it’s because of the source material, so it’s not crazy to think this.

E3 2017 Predictions

Hype-Train, Rampant Speculation

E3 2017 is just around the corner so it’s time to make some predictions and what I expect we will be seeing at E3 this year. I may not have gaming industry sources but I do follow the industry somewhat and I basically went to University to understand how companies work so I have a pretty damn good idea of how a business operates. So this is not your average Joe armchair CEO prediction that you can find plenty of out there. No emotions when making any predictions either. I’ll mainly be analyzing he big 3 (Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony).

Jurassic Park The Game The Movie the secret movie sequel you wanted

Secret Movie

The Jurassic Park franchise had been dormant for quite a few years after Jurassic Park /// but then in the early 2010’s we saw a revival of sorts to the brand with a new logo, new comics and a new video game. It was not an action game however but story based which means you only help the story along with some quick interactions every once in a while. So in a way it is really more of an interactive story than a videogame similar to such classics as Dragon’s Lair.

The story takes place during and immediately after the original Jurassic Park movie finishes with a special team from BioSyn sent to rescue the Barbasol can that had the dinosaur embryos. But we also see a familiar face Gerry Harding who is the dinosaur veterinarian from the park as well as a new character from the triceratop caregiver and Nima Cruz, a native from the Tun-Si tribe that was native to Isla Nublar. So while telling a new story that doesn’t intervene too much with the established canon it also tries to fix some plot holes that the film left off. Looking back on..

As a kid I once caught what is now known as SaTAM, and I fell in love with that version of the character, sadly growing up the only cartoon I could ever catch consistently was AOSTH and I hated it while Underground I never really knew existed We’ve looked at the Super Mario cartoon Trilogy so it’s not time to take a look back at Sonic’s very own Cartoon Trilogy which consisted of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog and Sonic Underground.

Gaming Again

Newgrounds constantly uploaded flash videos of different kinds and in 2007 we got a video called Rawest Forest, it’s been ten years and it’s still as great as it was back then. If you never played Super Mario RPG, it was an amazing game released at the end of the SNES’ life but it had a big impact on those who played it. It basically made RPGs be my favorite genre for many years. The music was also excellent and in particular you had one as you made your way through Geno’s Maze which is the background music of this video “Rawest Forest”.

Darkstalkers Animated (Anime & Cartoon) Compared

Forgotten Franchise

I always thought the Darkstalkers franchise looked awesome and it was something to check out. I never did play any of the games but those character designs really appealed to me as a kid. I’ve only ever played as characters in Marvel vs Capcom as I think most have counting that Capcom doesn’t seem to care about the franchise besides the few iconic characters. While the franchise seems to have been left in the attic it did have some notoriety since it didn’t get one animated interpretation but two; An Anime comprised of a 4 episode OVA and a 13 episode western cartoon of all things, so let’s rave it up and look back at these shows.
