We began a new year and with it come resolutions and here I’ll let you know what you can expect from miscrave this year of 2017. First of all we try to have new posts everyday but it’s not always possible, time being the biggest issue and sometimes lack of inspiration which I prefer not to post anything than post for the sake of posting. But I think 5 posts per week shouldn’t be a problem and I’ll be aiming for the whole week having posts, in the worst case scenario you can count at least some type of post a week if things get dire, I do have work/school/life to deal with. The podcast should also continue every week on Wednesdays. The site will continue to be worked on and improved so any suggestions are welcome so make sure to contact if you have anything you want to let us know. There will also be a youtube channel to complement miscrave later this year.
As I’ve mentioned a few times I have a problem with the Star Wars spin-offs and it being annualized. But I enjoyed a lot of things about the film even if there are too many “Why?”s for me to actually say I liked it. As much as I did not like The Force Awakens I think Episode VII is a better movie even if this movie has far less things that annoy me if that makes any sense. Going in I had accidentally read a few spoilers but of stuff I already knew or suspected was going to happen so it didn’t affect me a lot.

The new year is here and coming off from a difficult year, let’s take a look at some things to expect in 2017 besides more celebrities sadly passing away which will likely happened as explained in my end of 2016 article here. It’s a good read as I believe all the wheels that were set in motion will only continue as last year only paved the direction we were going but now we must go through it.
2016 in review and it was definitely an eventful year and not for good reasons and I like many am looking forward to it ending because I’m ready to start a new year. The year definitely started on the wrong side of the bed when David Bowie passed away which was a total shock since his latest album ha had only come out 2 days before. As the year passed I remember reading “2016 is being rough and its only beginning” from various people but it really was true and it indeed was blow after blow but I did end up annoyed by the “F 2016” being posted every time something bad happened, I mean there is a cause and an effect and a lot of important things were dismissed by blaming a year instead of analyzing the issues which I’ll touch on here.

At what time do you put away your Christmas decorations? As I wondered when I was going to put away my Christmas tree this year but I just couldn’t decide. For a few years I was putting them away on the 26th since Christmas was over but then I listened to the 12 days of Christmas song and looked it up and indeed there are 12 days of Christmas and contrary to some calendars they actually begin on the 25th, they don’t end on the 25th which made sense so I tried to follow that the year after but things are a lot more complicated than that.

Christmas being the mess of a holiday since it’s a fusion of so many different things that it’s only normal for there not to be an exact answer and you’ll see answers that ranger from various days in January all the way to February 2nd for specific reasons and they all have some validity.
Nintendo has a mobile youtube channel for their mobile games and apps they’ve released and will be releasing, for the most part it’s only been trailers but int he last few weeks they released two very good tributes to their history, one about Nintendo in general and the other focusing on Mario.

They are very nice tributes and what makes them unique is they’re vertical videos, normally they’re not videos I prefer to watch but they were so fun I wouldn’t want them any other way. So take a look at these two great videos that Nintendo made and make sure to watch them on your tablet/phone/mobile device to see them the way they were intended to.
