David Bowie was an amazing musician that influenced a lot of bands so let’s take a look at three unique covers of famous Bowie songs and the music videos that were made for them. I won’t really be comparing them to the original songs much but try to judge them by themselves and didn’t use any live covers.
The Wallflowers – Heroes
This week on Music Match, we’ll be doing something a little bit different and will feature songs related to Nintendo. I don’t really want this to become a thing but thought I’d do it today mainly because these songs were written before geek culture became cool and everyone and their mother wanted a piece of it. These songs have unique music videos and were written during a more innocent time of the internet. They’re great songs and not that easy to find and they really aren’t parodies either. Enjoy! This week’s Music Video recommendations don’t have any real theme though to me they’re songs I’ve listened on summer nights and it being summer night I chose them for this rendition of Music Match.

This week we celebrate the start of Summer by reviewing 3 music videos that is something you would play right after school got out in the 90s and boy do they reek of the 90’s but not only that, I think all three songs have kind of an empowering theme of go and do what you want since it’s your life. This second time on Music Match I review three new music videos ranging from dream wave to pop music. What is a Rave without music? Now MiscRave has always featured music whether from shows, to tributes or album reviews which contained music video reviews and even just random music video reviews. But I’ve recently realized that even though I stopped watching music videos for years that they didn’t become any less relevant, there are still tons of great music videos hidden there. So why not share some forgotten or looked over ones? Those are exactly my feelings which is why Music Match Monday’s will be a thing as long as there is music I would like to share or music videos that need to be watched. Named in honor of one of my first media players on my computer, here are today’s three must watch/listen.
Woodkid – run boy run
If someone ever wanted to write a song about Mighty Max then this would be it The lyrics about a boy running and looking ahead fit perfectly with Mighty Max’s story of him having to escape the dreaded Doom Zones. The fact that the music video seems like the closest thing we’ll ever get to a live action Mighty Max movie is the icing on the cake. You see a boy escaping this building and then being chased by various creatures from bats to yeti like creatures and giant rock monsters. It was shot in black and white which makes the whole mood fit even better. Fantastic song and video, once you see the horned yetis jump out you’ll be watching this one for days.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild had a nicely done trailer for the Nintendo Switch presentation and a lot of that was because of the music. Here we have a piano cover of the BOTW story trailer by Tim de Man.
