Just in time for valentine’s day we have a review of the unofficial Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers lingerie set called Morphin Babe Squad by Yandy who specializes in these type of undergarments as well as sexy costumes for halloween or whatever so they aren’t strangers to theming products When these were announced not too long ago they were $34.95 but right before valentines day they were only ten bucks so I’m guessing that despite making the blog rounds they didn’t sell very well, nonetheless they are definitely interesting enough to go through and review these costumes in an archival sort of way so everyone can remember this existed as well as their awesome references to various Power Rangers shows from various seasons which are simply amazing..

With that description you know they’re onto something and they aren’t messing around with the ameritoku theme, the girls are appropiately multiracial as any Power Rangers incarnation should be, the set of colors is the classic MMPR ones so let’s take a look at their descriptions and how well they got it right with each one of the 6 ranger costumes. I wont’ be talking about the masks that while they make the product awesome for what it is and great design, it just looks ridiculous and no way in hell that any woman will wear it, only way any of these costumes are happening is if they don’t know the origin.
Sexy Green Ranger

We can see why green is not a color often used in lingerie as it just feels odd and not like what you’d want to wear to look sexy. The style is somewhat classy and the green looks great because it’s such an odd color even if it makes me think more of Xmas than anything else. Too bad they missed the obvious callback to the golden shield int he design and they went with white. I like the Turbo reference.

Red Morphin Babe Squad is a great choice and works well as lingerie, it doesn’t quite command leader to me as much as it should since it doesn’t have too many extra things to make it stand out but it’s not a bad selection even if the white stripes take you out of it and well yeah far from great red lingerie when there’s so much better content int hat color, maybe next time Jason.
Sexy Black Ranger

A black black ranger doesn’t happen very often besides MMPR Zack and Operation Overdrive so we need to take advantage of this. I feel they could’ve done more with it, maybe covering up more and no white since it’s ruining the piece again. Another could be worse but plenty of non-ranger alternatives for someone to choose in that color.
Sexy Pink Ranger
Shift into sexy! In our second Turbo reference Yandy Babe Squad pink should’be been more gymnastics themed but it’s cute, the white doesn’t seem as inappropriate and being the tiniest lingerie costume so far makes sense. Pink doesn’t have as much competition but also doesn’t feel out of place like green does. Best one so far, Kim would be proud.
Sexy Yellow Ranger

Like most yellow rangers in the show this is a step back from Pink, treated worse but somehow deserving of more respect and that’s how I feel about this piece. They didn’t want to upstage pink but still did a good job to make it stand out. Not a very common color for sexy times but blends in alright and we have a PR in Space reference in the description! Let’s just hope it’s not Chip the one wearing it.
Sexy Blue Ranger
Get ready for action! Protect the bedroom in this exclusive Blue Morphin Babe Squad lingerie costume featuring a sheer chemise with a high neckline, eyelash lace cups, a white mesh bust panel, a smooth mesh bodice, a low back with a lace-up closure, a matching g-string panty, and a matching eye mask with a black mesh panel.
Just like the 2017 film we get a race swap on the blue ranger and we get what must be one of the best designs that they did, again it’s the white that messes things up but I guess they felt the need to put white somewhere to reference the Mighty Morphin suits.
Sexy Rita Repulsa
Unofficial but hey, why not, it goes with the theme of the other costumes and it was the recommended one that they showed with some of the other Ranger Costumes and a villain was needed, doesn’t look that much different than 2017 movie Rita in a way.
So you could’ve owned the whole collection for only $60 which is a lot less than what one of the bigger ticket Power Rangers toys go for, won’t scare the girl away, will like it. Of course a plastic figure is easier to display than these lingerie that would require someone wanting to be intimate with an adult Power Rangers fan, so Diecast Megazord here we come.
