We had speculated what the fifth Jurassic Park movie was going to be called for a long time with names like Jurassic Park 5, Jurassic World 2, Jurassic War, Jurassic _____, Epoch, Ancient Futures and we finally got the name alongside the new poster which was Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. But is it a good title?
If we take a look at the history of the film franchise we can see that Jurassic Park has never had any consistency in the titles. As a kid I was always bothered by The Lost World: Jurassic Park as I wanted the title to be Jurassic Park: The Lost World. Of course back then I didn’t know that the book sequel didn’t even include the Jurassic Park moniker and only went for the generic The Lost World title. Then we had Jurassic Park 3 which got rid of the subtitles and went with the three claw marks ///. Jurassic World was once again the name of park in the movie even if it did drop Park from the franchises name. And with Fallen Kingdom we can see that the only logic recurring theme is the inconsistency. Continue reading Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom; What’s in a title?→

Jurassic Park is one of the most recognizable movies ever made and because of it, it’s gotten tons of song parodies over the years, whether totally original or just writing lyrics to the main theme the franchise has gotten quite a few of them. So let’s take a look at some of the best musical parodies & tributes that Jurassic Park has gotten over the years.
The Jurassic Park franchise had been dormant for quite a few years after Jurassic Park /// but then in the early 2010’s we saw a revival of sorts to the brand with a new logo, new comics and a new video game. It was not an action game however but story based which means you only help the story along with some quick interactions every once in a while. So in a way it is really more of an interactive story than a videogame similar to such classics as Dragon’s Lair.
The story takes place during and immediately after the original Jurassic Park movie finishes with a special team from BioSyn sent to rescue the Barbasol can that had the dinosaur embryos. But we also see a familiar face Gerry Harding who is the dinosaur veterinarian from the park as well as a new character from the triceratop caregiver and Nima Cruz, a native from the Tun-Si tribe that was native to Isla Nublar. So while telling a new story that doesn’t intervene too much with the established canon it also tries to fix some plot holes that the film left off. Jurassic Park is one of the most famous franchises out there with kids and adults and yet it never really got an amazing fast food promotion but at the very least it has gotten some fast food love along side with some decent promotions and nice commercials to go along with them so let’s take a look at them.
McDonalds had the rights for Jurassic Park when the original movie came out however they couldn’t really get figures made for the Happy Meal since they had just gotten off from the controversy of making toys for the PG-13 movie Batman returns so they had a policy of no toys for movies rated above PG. They made up by having Dino Sized value meals which were a big hit and eventually became standard even though they weren’t originally meant to stay. Continue reading Jurassic Park Fast-Food→
