About ten years ago one of the memes that arose on 4chan was about Battletoads and uasking about it. At one point it was decided to call different stores like Gamestop and Walmart about Battletoads for Wii or other consoles out at the time. I remember calling a few stores that night like an idiot and even trying to trick the poor employee’s that I really didn’t want to ask for Battletoads and then ended up doing it at the end… I know rather stupid but what can I say it was rather fun as it hadn’t really been done before and the stars just aligned themselves for this to have been a great raid back in November of 2007. Check out some of the phone call pranks that were done that day to poor Gamestop employee’s.

Scientists discovered a new Pokemon on July 5th named Mew and a cloning experiment was done shortly after giving birth to Mewtwo on February 6th. He turned out to be too powerful to control and escaped a few months after. His current whereabouts are unknown.

For Pokemon’s 20th anniversary it was decided that an ad on the Superbowl was a good idea. The ad was very vague and seemed like an odd decision for The Pokemon Company to have taken it. Now it seems like it was the perfect decision as Pokemon Go became a huge fad that same summer and in the fall Pokemon Sun and Moon ended up becoming one of the best sold games in the series. Looking back on..

In the early days of Nintendo you used to see a lot more licensing of their stuff thanks to Nintendo of America who knew it was a great idea to have your brand in different places but that liberty NOA had was taken away by Nintendo Co. LTD in japan and they decided to be much more conservative with their use of their Intellectual Property. Nowadays Nintendo is more willing to license their stuff and we’ll see mSore and more in the coming years but let’s take a look back on the first three Super Mario Bros Cartoons that the late 80s and early 90s gave to us.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild had a nicely done trailer for the Nintendo Switch presentation and a lot of that was because of the music. Here we have a piano cover of the BOTW story trailer by Tim de Man.

Gaming Again

A new Pokemon app called Pokemon Duel came out on the app store, when I checked it out I was surprised to see that it was about a figure battling game and I was reminded of the Pokemon Trading Figure Game since a lot of the Pokemon Duel game is based off of the Pokemon TFG. I originally wrote about it on a previous website I ran so here’s a little information on the game that inspired the latest phone application.

What was originally meant to be an article on the problems with Pokemon Bank turned into a three parts as it was getting long, then the potentials of what a Pokemon Bank app could do and now let’s finish off with some very basic things Game Freak could do to fix Pokemon Bank into something that doesn’t seem like an afterthought.
