It’s a new year and a new time to make New Years Resolutions over what’s going on with the site in 2024. As always I’ll try to be humblingly ambitious as I normally try not to promise too much but do make one or two big things I want to work on that I end up not being able to do in the end or not to the extent that I want. This year will be no different perhaps but I do think things are planned a bit better this year so I don’t over promise.
First great news is we’ll be getting a new podcast as you can see on its own post with the Raving Academy, it’ll be a companion piece to the website. In general I want to expand what I do with the MiscRave website so I hope to expand more on Tiktok and Youtube content, the ideas I’ve had for years might finally start rolling out as I have a bit more time.
As far as with the site, I will be changing the theme up to be more tile based. That should give it a bit more of a more modern look while trying to keep the web 1.0 theme going and shedding any web 2.0 stink. Site might look funky a few times while I experiment what I like best. I’ll also try to have more original articles that aren’t just reviews. I want to keep the weekly content and overviews seemed the easiest way to do it the past few years but it was never the intention of the site to do that, I’d rather have more original takes on stuff. With that said I also hope to slowly start updating/cleaning up old articles from the beginning. I hope to expand on these last two points more the year after, but the priority this year will be updating the look of the site and audio/video content.
