A video classic is a video that remained on my mind for whatever reason or maybe a new video I really enjoyed.
In 2003 WWE had a commercial where the wrestlers of the company go on a field to teach a lesson to football players. It’s a quick little ad that makes fun of the failure that was the XFL. It’s nice to see humor being self-aware, watch it below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_ClxvHymhA

The great thing about Saturday Morning cartoons is they would often get the voice actors from their different shows and record original lines for bumpers. They could range from a silly references to crossovers with the other shows. So let’s take a look at some of the crossovers that involved Pokemon and Batman The Animated Series.

Do the Mario was the outro / ending theme of the Super Mario Bros Super Show but what makes it really memorable is at the end of the episode as the credits rolled professional wrestler Lou-Albano who portrayed Mario in the live aciton segments danced goofily to the mario theme while singing and telling us to “do the Mario”.
I don’t know exactly what it is but there’s something special about it as this wasn’t a show I ever watched as a kid and only got to see it for the first time in my late teens when the DVDs of the show came out and yet they felt nostalgic and magical in a way that I shouldn’t have felt for something I never watched. So let’s go ahead and take some time to “Do the Mario”. Watch the video here and you can find the lyrics below.

Nintendo has a mobile youtube channel for their mobile games and apps they’ve released and will be releasing, for the most part it’s only been trailers but int he last few weeks they released two very good tributes to their history, one about Nintendo in general and the other focusing on Mario.
They are very nice tributes and what makes them unique is they’re vertical videos, normally they’re not videos I prefer to watch but they were so fun I wouldn’t want them any other way. So take a look at these two great videos that Nintendo made and make sure to watch them on your tablet/phone/mobile device to see them the way they were intended to.
