Music Match is all about discovering new music and finding cool music videos, any genre of music is welcome as long as the song and/or music video is cool enough to share. It can be hard to find new music sometimes so here we have a mix of old stuff you may have forgotten and new stuff that you will be glad you learned about them. I try to mix with something more mainstream to something more underground and feature different genres. Also important that the music video is unique or cool enough to watch on its own, there are plenty of awesome music videos out there and it’s up to us to share some forgotten ones.
Here we have an archive of all the previous Music Videos featured, search by band or click on one randomly to find something you may like. Some weeks feature some type of theme between the songs features and others don’t. We have Music Monday’s in MiscRave which usually features a new volume o Music Match though sometimes we have album reviews and the like. This page might not always be up to date in that case click here for the latest one.If you have any suggestions comment.
If you enjoyed the music or have any thoughts let me know by commenting below or tweeting at me. You can also share the article or hit me up an email with your thoughts or music that you may want to share with me or feature, it’s nice to hear from other fans.
If you ever wanted to go to a Rave or any EDM festival but were to afraid on what you would do then worry not as to celebrate one year of MiscRave being online, it is only appropriate that we dance just like in Raves. This Music Monday won’t only have music but some dance moves to accompany them so you can get the feeling of moving your body.
Lou and Bee Daft bodies Harder better faster stronger
Featuring Daft Punk’s Harder Better Faster we see these two re-create the original Daft Bodies which is not only ten years old now but was also MiscRave’s first musical post. Daft Bodies had many copy cats including some very elaborate ones. This one might be a littl emore back to the basics but something about it that makes it stand out among the dozens of imitators. It’s basically the end of the summer but here we can squeeze 3 more summery music videos before we move on. If you want even more to not forget the season or to you it won’t finish until September then here are some more. As always I try to recommend either some cool Music, Music Videos or nostalgic songs, sometimes all of those at the same time but not always.
This second time on Music Match I review three new music videos ranging from dream wave to pop music. It can be hard to find music at times but no matter if it’s from a person who has bad musical taste, a suggestion on youtube and even a TV show, or in the case of some here a website, it’s important to continue to find new music. So let’s take a look at these three music videos that caught my eye and were worth sharing for a reason or two.
What is a Rave without music? Now MiscRave has always featured music whether from shows, to tributes or albumreviews which contained music video reviews and even just random music video reviews. But I’ve recently realized that even though I stopped watching music videos for years that they didn’t become any less relevant, there are still tons of great music videos hidden there. So why not share some forgotten or looked over ones? Those are exactly my feelings which is why Music Match Monday’s will be a thing as long as there is music I would like to share or music videos that need to be watched. Named in honor of one of my first media players on my computer, here are today’s three must watch/listen.
Woodkid – run boy run
If someone ever wanted to write a song about Mighty Max then this would be it The lyrics about a boy running and looking ahead fit perfectly with Mighty Max’s story of him having to escape the dreaded Doom Zones. The fact that the music video seems like the closest thing we’ll ever get to a live action Mighty Max movie is the icing on the cake. You see a boy escaping this building and then being chased by various creatures from bats to yeti like creatures and giant rock monsters. It was shot in black and white which makes the whole mood fit even better. Fantastic song and video, once you see the horned yetis jump out you’ll be watching this one for days.
