I’m a little hyped for the upcoming Legends of the Hidden Temple movie coming out and I’ve been watching a few episodes of the show. I found this video which tries to re-create the game show and it does a surprisingly good job at it. You can tell they put a lot of heart into it even if the games and whatnot are rather simple things.

The fan recreation is about the length of the actual show and includes all the segments you expected from the Nickelodeon game show. The creator Lauren is trying to get funding for another episode so if you’re interested you can click here. Props to everyone involved.

I like to post my thoughts on things a few days after their release to get rid of the initial reactions and all that hype that influences and skews your thoughts on said thing. Looking back on..

I used to love this show when I was in younger and always wanted to check it out again, it wasn’t a particularly popular show but it does have its own fan site straight out of the late 90s early 00s. I already talked about opening intro in a previous post since it deserves it is obviously earned. But how is the show?

What are some of your Halloween traditions that you guys follow? As an adult it can be difficult to get in the mood for Halloween but I definitely try to at least make some effort. It has become difficult for me to pretty much do anything like putting any decorations at all and if I find a decent Halloween party I feel satisfied for the year but even then I try to add to the holiday. The only thing I can say not many people get to do is I eat “Pan de Muerto” or “dead bread” which is a traditional Mexican bread for Dia de Muertos but I count it as part of a Halloween tradition.

Sorry for the lack of updates these past couple of days but I was a bit busy and now October has come which means Halloween is getting very close. I’m aiming for at least 3 posts a week and they’ll all be themed with Halloween in mind and I mean that very vaguely so as long as there’s some type horror element it’s fair game. Still working on getting adsense working right and google cards and whatnot so any feedback is welcome.

I was being flooded by Spam and fake accounts so I did some research and remembered about this tool called Disqus. Once you make an account on their website you can comment on any blog or website that uses Disqus and it’s easy to share conversations on Social Media. It also has a nice community and social media aspects where you can get feeds of your favorite blogs that use Disqus, I really like it and would love to see more sites use it so I’m impressed with it. I really wanted to keep comments open without any registration but I guess it’s impossible to do but this won’t take much time to register.

SomethingAwful was a very popular site where a lot of the early internet memes and trends would start. The story begins by saying that I was a member at Serebii.net, one of the largest Pokemon communities and even if I wasn’t really a regular I would stop from time to time when there was a big Pokemon announcement. On one of these occasions I found a hilarious thread about being attracted to Pokemon.
