This is an archive of all the emails they sent out for Camp Hyrule 2005. This includes the winning cabin’s email since I was a winner that year, my only time and the only time they ever gave out T-Shirts or anything more than just wall papers or signed posters to the winning cabins.

Hey there campers!
Welcome to the first day of Camp Hyrule 2005!
Firstly, we’d like to thank each and every one of you for attending Camp
Hyrule 2005. This is Nintendo’s biggest online event of the year, and it’s
thanks to dedicated campers like you that this event is such a huge success
year after year.
You may not have heard, but last year we were hit by a destructive flash
flood that soaked the Camp Hyrule grounds on the last day of camp. Your Camp
Directors have been working tirelessly all year to rebuild camp, and we have
to say that we’re quite happy with how everything turned out.
Unfortunately, it appears that our best efforts to ensure a safe and fun
camp this year were not enough. As you can see by looking at the main map,
all of Camp Hyrule has fallen under the dark shadow of the Twilight Realm.
Why us?! It looks like you won’t be needing that suntan lotion this year
after all. We’re not sure why this has happened, but we’re determined to do
something about it.
We believe that this is the same curse that is plaguing Hyrule in The Legend
of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Your Camp Directors have unearthed a mysterious
device which we hope will free Camp Hyrule from this unnatural blanket of
darkness. Its magical powers remain an enigma, but NOA_MIKE claims that he
has unlocked its secrets. You’ll find this device in the upper-left corner
of the Camp Hyrule map. If we can find the four missing Stumpy Stones, we
might be able to restore peace to our fair camp.
Reportedly, the first Stumpy Stone can be found somewhere near the Mario
Sports Complex. Please take some time today to explore that portion of camp.
Don’t forget! Today is the day that you and your cabin-mates can name your
cabin. Bring your ideas to your first Cabin Chat of the day to vote for the
best name. By naming your cabin, you’ll earn FIVE POINTS for your cabin.
Another thing you can do today is design your official cabin flag. If you’d
like to participate in this activity, create an image 200 (w) x 150 (h)
pixels formatted as a jpg. Visit the Trading Post for instructions about
how to submit your design. Camp Directors will select the best flag, and
post it on the flagpole outside of your cabin. Once your flag is flying,
you’ll earn TEN POINTS for your cabin.
Don’t feel like participating in any activities? No problem! If you’d
prefer, you can just relax at the Pokemon Center, practice your back stroke
at Lake Webaconda or get some grub at Kirby’s Mess Hall. It’s totally up
to you!
If you need help, be sure to visit the First Aid Hut.
Have a great day,
Camp Directors

Good morning, campers!
We’re pleased to report that a Stumpy Stone was recovered yesterday.
Excellent work! As you can see on the main map, the Mario Sports Complex has
been released from the Twilight Realm thanks to your efforts.
Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done. Most of Camp Hyrule
remains veiled in darkness, so we need your help. Keep your eyes peeled for
the next Stumpy Stone as you explore camp today. And while you’re out there,
be sure to notify an NOA if you see anything suspicious. We’ve noticed some
unusual animal tracks scattered throughout camp, and while we’re not overly
concerned, we’d definitely like to know if you see anything out of the
ordinary.
Be sure to check out our two special guest chat events today at the
Amphitheater. Nintendo’s Localization Team chats at 1:00pm Pacific Time, and
Richard Vorodi, a game designer from Nintendo Software Technology, chats at
3:00pm.
Also, we’d like to let you know about another opportunity to earn points for
your cabin. Your cabin could use a Cabin Mascot! This could either be a
Nintendo character, a picture of your favorite pet or basically anything at
all. Visit the Trading Post for more information about how to submit a
mascot. You’ll receive 10 POINTS for having a Cabin Mascot.
Be sure to check out the Trading Post to participate in some fun activities.
It’s a great way to earn points for your cabin!
Thanks, and have a great day of camp everyone!

Howdy campers!
As you can see, another Stumpy Stone was recovered yesterday and now Hyrule
Castle has been freed from the Twilight Realm. At this rate, we just might
be able to save all of Camp Hyrule by the end of the week!
We’re halfway there, but we still need your help. Try sniffing around the
Nintendogs Kennel today to see if you can find any clues about where the
next Stone might be hidden. Also, thanks to everyone who provided
information about those mysterious animal tracks yesterday. We still don’t
really know what type of animal is making them, but we found a lot more this
morning. Who knows … it’s probably just a deer or two looking for food.
At any rate, let us know if you see anything strange!
Have fun today!

What’s up campers!
We’re extremely pleased to report that yet another Stumpy Stone has been
recovered, and now the Nintendogs Kennel has been liberated from the
Twilight Realm. Those puppies must be glad to see that their fire hydrant
is bright and shiny once again.
Only one more Stumpy Stone to go! Be sure to check out the Pokemon Center
today to see if you can recover the last Stone and free the remainder of
Camp Hyrule. The fate of our fair camp lies in your hands.
Meanwhile, we must admit that the strange tracks being left around camp are
rather troubling. NOA_MAC mentioned that he heard what sounded like a very
large horse galloping by Nintendo Power HQ last evening, but when he ran
outside there was nothing but a foul odor in the air. This is very
mysterious to say the least. Again, if you see anything out of the ordinary,
please notify an NOA immediately.
Don’t forget! Chat with the pro players from Nintendo Power Magazine in the
Amphitheater today at 1:00pm Pacific Time.
In other news, tomorrow we’ll be hosting the Camp Hyrule closing ceremonies
in the Amphitheater. Bring some tissues, ’cause we’ll be bidding a tearful
farewell to another great year of camp. Every year we give out End-Of-Camp
Awards at the closing ceremonies, based on a number of crazy categories.
Check out the following categories below, and vote for the camper who you
think would be the perfect candidate. Please do not vote for NOAs or members
of Stumpy’s Stable Crew. And hey, show some Camp Hyrule pride and don’t vote
for yourself, okay?
Triforce Award (camper who spent the most time in chat):
Master Sword Award (camper who spent the most time on the bulletin boards):
Baby Mario Award (cutest camper):
Tingle Award (funniest camper):
Paper Mario Award (best artist):
Miyamoto Award (best name):
Nintendo Power Award (most knowledgeable about video games):
Candy Kong Award (friendliest camper):
DK Award (camper who spent the most time in the Jungle):
Bowser Award (biggest troublemaker):

Stumpy Award (most knowledgeable about Camp Hyrule history):
Sonic Award (fastest typer):
Luigi Award (best speller):
Koopa Award (worst speller):

Send your nominations to [email protected] by 8:00 am PST tomorrow.
Every camper who votes will earn ONE POINT for his/her cabin (one entry per
camper). IMPORTANT!! Be sure to include your cabin number in the subject
line. If you do not include your cabin number, your cabin will not receive
credit for your entry. So, if you are in Cabin 10, the subject line should
read “Cabin 10.”
Have a great day,
Camp Directors

Greetings campers,
Well campers, we hope you’ve had a blast at Camp Hyrule 2005. We sure have!
Thanks to your help, we’ve rescued Camp Hyrule from the Twilight Realm once
and for all. As you can see, all four Stumpy Stones are in place and
everything seems to be in order. We hope that you’ve been able to have a
good time this week, even though we haven’t seen too much of the sun.
In other news, we never did figure out what those strange animal tracks were
all about. We heard even more galloping noises last night, and when
NOA_RUFUS inspected the tracks more closely he discovered some thick
hairballs scattered here and there. But, if we’ve learned anything from past
years at Camp Hyrule, you can rest assured that everything will be just
fine. Our best bet is probably to ignore the tracks and hope for the best.
Whatever you do, don’t miss the Camp Hyrule 2005 Closing Ceremonies at
4:00pm PDT. Thanks again for making Camp Hyrule 2005 such a huge success.
It wouldn’t be possible without great campers like you! Enjoy the rest of
your summer to the fullest, and play lots of video games!
Sincerely,
Camp Directors
