So today unexpectedly they announced Super Mario Run coming out on iOS and later confirmed on Android shortly after. That’s something I certainly didn’t expect to see at the apple conference. It was weird hearing Miyamoto speak English for so long, he normally only says a few words. So let’s talk about it quickly with yays and nays. Miscellaneous
Back in the late 90s/early 2000’s I used to watch a lot of wrestling, and I mean a lot. I was basically glued to all their programming on the USA network and with that came repetitive commercials. There were plenty of clever commercials but no matter how funny it may have been if you watch it hundreds of times you’re bound to get sick of it.

September 5th, 2016 – A 17-year-old girl has been charged with murder earlier tonight, in connection to the death of defence attorney Mia Fey. The girl, who police say was found at the scene of the crime shortly after Fey’s death, has been identified as the victim’s sister Maya Fey.

Looking back on..
I recently decided to re-watch Wonder Showzen and I can say that it’s an underated gem, I say that since most people seem to have forgotten about the show. It was never a huge show but some people seemed to watch it and now almost no one ever brings it up. I wasn’t sure how well it would show up since it very well could’ve been a product of its time.
Whatever happened to...
Sometimes things online seem to banish from people’s consciousness and no one but the very few can recall…and we just want to know what happened.. We’ve enjoyed the Magic School Bus Opening and the Live Action parodies but Whatever happened to The Magic School Bus 360 ?

Hype-Train
I’ve noticed if you wait a while after something that you’re hyped about and re-analyze what you’re thinking then is more likely to be what you think about it in the future once the original hype died down. So let’s take a look at the Nintendo Direct for September 1st.
Hype-Train
Nintendo Directs were somewhat frequent and usually came out of nowhere. Sometimes they were very good and sometimes very disappointing. Nevertheless having these mini-E3’s through out the year was excellent. While we have had less Directs since Satoru Iwata passed away last year and we used to have Directs without Iwata something just isn’t the same. I don’t know if it’s just me, the lack of frequent Directs or associating Directs with Iwata.
I can’t say it’s the quality of the content since it didn’t matter if it had been terrible or great but they always had plenty of hype surrounding them. Nintendo has made a few announcements since the last Direct just through other means like the NES mini which they could’ve just gotten a few of those announcements and made them into a Direct but they chose not to so maybe they kind of know as well. While I don’t want just random announcements instead of something like the Directs to build hype surrounding them I’ll just say that something is not there anymore and maybe it’s time for Nintendo to retire them in favor of an alternative.
