WWE x Girls Gone Wild Crossover

In the early 2000s there was no bigger thing than Girls Gone Wild, you’d see those commercials all the time starting at certain hours of the night and hear that iconic steel drums Caribbean jingle. At the same time you had the WWE which while not as big as it had been just a few years prior, was still somewhat relevant. With all the collaborations with Playboy and the risque programming, World Wrestling Entertainment was running it only made sense for these two to run an event together. Focusing on the show and not the dramafrom it.

Jonathan Coachman is at Spring Break alongside WCW’s Torrie Wilson, Test, Tough Enough’s Nidia Guenard to host the first ever (and only) Girls Gone Wild Girl. They are accompanied by Snoop Dogg (who is no stranger to WWE events), Joe Francis and Kylie B Max (who?) There are boob flashing , hottest PPV of all time, live and uncensored, unauthrozied hub 2003 Tequila Frogs in Texas. South Padre Island, Texas, in an establishment

The hosts are Stacy Kiebler and Coach and well we begin with cnats of “Show your Tits! Show your tits!”. There are some great quotes hidden in this PLE such as after Torrie gets knocked out and we get Snoop Dogg’s “Get a good ass shot, is she ok? Get a good ass shot”. Stacy’s “Who’s ready to see some ass tonight?. Snoop’s “She got more ass than 3 of them contestents put together”

The show does start with a GGW intro with flashing and it’s just odd to see WWE sanctioned nudity as we do see some of their characters in the middle of that stuff happening. Josh Matthews is at another location also getting some girls to go wild and crazy, and then we move on to Leah Pool who we have no idea who she is but they’re there for the wet t-shirts. But besides those brief mid flashes from the crowd, it’s mostly just a show about the contestents.

It’s divided into 4 competitions. Donna Sun ends up being the winner which really amounted to nothing. We’ll go over the rounds in a bit, but basically most of the competitors if not all of them are basically professional models and or inspiring ones. Most of them at least all the judge favorite ones seem to have been pre-selected before the show as they all seemed to have agents who got them to the competition.

I like how Coach handled himself like he did on WWE TV. Trying to prevent things from escalating and stopping people from going too far as if it were an episode of Raw or Smackdown. “Ok, That’s enough”, “Next, next, next”, “You can’t do that!”, he seemed genuinelly concerned things were getting out of hand. Torrie and Stacy were not so shy in asking explicit questions. And Test just acts like an all out pervert, he also had the testicles cam where he would get upskirts of the models as they introduced themselves, well at least at first, he also liked showing his face a lot.

The introduction has them asking questions like if they spit or swallow, first in wdresses
The replies did nothing to the crowd or anyone, I mean how hot can you get when someone says “She loves tae bo but sex is her favorite work out” Some questions were MA rated but that’s about it., Round 1 had them come out in clothes, some girls were more attractive than others, some more generic plastic than others, supposedly all college girls. One did come out already in a bikini and one straight up flashed the crowd.

Then we get Evening wear, then lingerae, sometimes they describe how they have sex and sometimes some of the girls might flash or try to act sexy or just tease. A bit boring in general. The rounds never made much sense since the girls came out as they wanted to anyway. They do have a best of GGW funny moments which has nothing to do with this and a Wrestlemania XIX comercial which seems more relevant.

After that we get a behind the scenes of Torrie Wilson’s Playboy photoshoot. Although it shows no nudity. All nudity is basically from random chicks or models. A bit disappointing since in the past WWE always flirted with the idea and they finally had a platform to pull the trigger but didn’t. It makes sense they didn’t show Torrie since they wanted to sell magazines, not give it for free, although it was a Pay Per View so not free but you get the idea. No WWE nudity at all unless you count brief nipslips from Nidia and Torrie during their fight.

The storyline from Smackdown from who would get the photoshoot on playboy story concluded here with Nidia getting his revenge. Nidia pulls a “I won’t show” heel move and Torrie “was” going to do it until Nidia interrupts to attack just at the right time. Could’ve been interesting if they handled it a bit better.

The third contest was bikini competition, Stacy Kiebler who is the most unhinged of the WWE crew tries to get one of the girls to show her boobs “”she must not need the 25k” but she doesn’t, and things escalate. Stacy later gets vindictive on her and chooses the worst dare of whipped cream all over her. Most other contestants would just flash without anyone asking.

Fourth competition though i guess it doesn’t matter with the outfits as I mentioned. This time they ahd to do acts with food, some would say they’re virgins. The whole spin the wheel thing wasn’t working as most off their choices were already lame so they would change them up to make them interesting and just spice them up disregarding anything that the wheel might’ve said they needed to do.

The rules they had to enforce local laws were kind of weird, it seemed showing breasts was ok, touching them, making out in skimpy outfits, any acts being done with fruit was ok. But no full frontal, no interacting of body parts whatsoever even with clothing. As mentioned Stacy was really into the whole thing and had to be stopped with her giant sausage with Coach being the voice of reason so the show wouldn’t get shut down. Again one of the contestants was a playmate already I think, at the end most of them take their tops off, not the best contest overall.

There was a fifth round GGW style whatever that meant (again the rounds wre formal wear, evening wear, swimsui competition,t alent competition, a previw of how things are going to be like…not really) and that’s when they invite the crowd to break a world record of most flashes at first it doesn’t seem like many people join but there were afew at the end, mid really.. Clearly the WWE crew were not in their comfort zone, they don’t know how to entertain the crowds there, you can see they tried but it was a different game here..

This event has mostly been covered to show how bad WWE really is..but in their defense in general it seems they didn’t control a lot of the content. Not only that but despite the popularity of Girls Gone Wild and how much WWE likes to promote itself, they didn’t plaster their name on the PPV and never really referenced it after it happened. Overall the special is a really mediocre WWE event only fun for its novelty value of being the only nudity approved show. As a GGW show well I didn’t really watch any but from what I was able to see they weren’t particularly great videos either, but perhaps better than this.
